Home was captured at the Siem Reap Provincial Orphanage in Cambodia. The series features portraits of children sitting on their beds, framed in compositions that are similar yet subtly different. These beds represent the only space they can truly call "home."
Home is not merely a documentation of portraits. My aim is to explore the relationships between the children, as well as the psychological and physical distance between myself and the subjects. During these sessions, it wasn’t about finding the best composition or angle, but rather about discovering a position where both sides felt comfortable.
